Why Joe's Cones? Once upon a time back in the mid 1970's the original (Skate City) had an ice cream stand serving sundaes, cones, and banana splits. This Skate rink and Ice cream stand was run by the one and only Joe and Barbra Jean. Over time good old Joe developed an ice cream addiction, seemed every time Joe became crabby the staff would offer him an ice cream cone. This habit continued on for many years until finally Joe retired. Unfortunately with Joe's retirement the ice cream stand faded away. Fast forward 20 years to march 2020 when the Covid Pandemic hit Montana and Skate World was deemed non-essential. With stakes high for a small business Joe kept coming to mind and the same question remained, what would Joe do? Ice Cream. Hence the resurrection of Joe's Cones. Ice cream, an essential for all.
